This is an intimate, romantic dinner that will excite your pallet and impress your guests, leaving you with the skills to pull it off yourself with many variations. We will start with a light and bright bruschetta, while I demonstrate the timeless technique of handmade gnocchi. This is where you will get hands on, gaining an understanding of the importance of the right feel to fresh pasta. The gnocchi will then be pan-seared in herb butter and served with a wild boar ragout; a rustic Italian dish, featuring a fine Texas product.
We will then sit down to a family-style meal starting with a classic radicchio salad with balsamic and parmesan, followed by the wild boar gnocchi. I will then whip up a luscious, lemon curd trifle that ends this rich meal just right. Printed recipes provided.
